FINDING A COUNTERFEIT VERSION IN YOUR CHURCH'S PULPIT

Many Christians I believe go to Church, Sunday or Saturday, listening to message after message, never realizing that they are listening to a counterfeit version in the pulpit. I believe that any man, saved or lost, who teaches, preaches, or shares, with a false Bible, is misleading the congregation!
To often we forget, how the Devil got man to sin in the first place. You say, I know, the Devil got man to eat an apple! If this is what you believe, you have missed the temptation completely. To begin with, the Bible says fruit (Genesis 3:3), not an apple, and the fruit was the result of man giving in to the temptation of the Devil.
What then was the temptation? Where did Eve, and Adam go wrong?
According to the Bible in Genesis 3:1-5, the Bible states, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil”.
Now compare what God had told Adam in Genesis 2:17. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die”.
The real temptation here is that Satan got Eve first, than probably Adam too, to doubt the Word of the Lord.
Satan challenges the message.
Eve misquotes the message.
And both Adam and Eve by their actions, disbelieve the message!
Therefore, mankind fell because they followed the Devil’s Version of the Word of God!
You might say that I am taking this passage out of context, but I do not believe so. As I will show you in this article, if Satan can get you to doubt you have the Word of God, than you have no final authority, and you can simply find a version to support what you believe on just about any topic.
Several months ago I read the “Purpose Driven Church”, by Rick Warren. As I read this great Satanic book, I noticed that every version was used I could just about thing of, but the King James Version. The author was able to find a different version to support his theology, if he looked hard enough. Just what in God’s Word
